For a short visit you can go to a hotel. Polish Hotels are quite expensive. Warsaw, Cracow, Gdansk, Poznan, etc. hotels in the centers of big cities are the most expensive, single room costs at least $80 per night. It is really single room, shower, TV box and usually no AC... OK, perhaps you are rich enough and you can go for Marriot Hotel, Holiday Inn, etc. Holiday Inn should not be too expensive you might think. You are wrong again. My tip is if you want to spend your time in hotels you do your booking from your home country thru our website. This way you might negotiate a better deal. Why is that? I do not know, but it is this way.

Cheaper Hotels in Poland
I am to help you guys, no worries. Motels and Hotels that are located in the country are much cheaper, single rooms cost about 90 - 180 zloties, i.e. 30 - 60 bucks per night. You can expect reasonable standard, i.e. TV box, bathroom, etc. Food is usually good and inexpensive in these small hotels. Do not go for the cheapest ones, because these are usually occupied by pimps and their ladies, unless you require their services.

Guest houses in Poland

Hostels in Poland
Hostels are a good solution for students and youngsters who travel a lot. They are not expensive, but you have to share your room with your friends.
Apartments in Poland
If you come to Poland for a longer period of time you definitely need good accomodation. You might want to rent a flat or an apartment. Again big cities are the most expensive. 2 bedroom apartment costs about 1500 - 2000 zloties, i.e. 500 - 700 bucks, per month. In small towns you can rent the same appartment for 300 - 400 bucks per month. Some of them are fully furnished, some are not.
Student Apartments and Houses in Poland
If you are a student it is best to contact your University, College in order to get information on student accommodation. Single rooms in flats cost usually 300-400 zloties per month.
