Holiday Accommodation in Poland. Some of the things need to be explained, so you can plan you Polish Holidays safely.
Guest Houses in Poland
Many people run Guest Houses. Rooms are of reasonable standard, i.e. shower, bathroom, TVBOX, video. Often they are very close to the beach. Many Guest Houses also provide with food. Breakfast cost about 10 zloties, dinner cost about 15 zloties. They have dining rooms and they serve breakfast and dinners. Food is reasonably good. Rooms are single and doubles. Usually you need to pay 80-120 zloties a day per person. In the beginning you can take a hotel room for 1 or 2 days then find something cheaper. HOTEL BOOKING
Holiday Camps in Poland
Again close to The Baltic Sea or by The Lakes there are plenty of them. You can go with own tent there or an own caravan. Usually a place costs 30-50 zloties a day. Another possibility you can rent a Wooden House, ie. a cabin. These are Norwegian style houses with bathrooms and small kitchens. Inside there are 3 - 6 rooms. The entire house costs 150-200 zloties a day. In many cases you can just go to the coast and you will find something, you just have to walk around, usually they have some free cabins.
Holiday Hotels in Poland
Of course they are lower class than normal city hotels. They are placed only in holiday regions, i.e. on the coast, in the mountains, in Masurian Lakes. You will not see any stars on their doors, but they supply with reasonable standard. Shower, bathrooms, tv, radio, etc. Rooms are single or double. They cost about 60-150 zloties a day per person. Food is very often included within this price. They serve breakfasts, dinners (note: at 2pm) and suppers (note: at 7pm). I am not a fan of their menu. It sucks very often. I suggest rather you buy food in other place. These which are on the coast are very close to the beach, usually 100-200 meters, just behind dunes.
Boats, Yachting in Poland
It is also sort of accommodation because you sleep on the boat then. You can rent the yacht or a sailboat for a week or two. Mazury Lakes is the best place where you can try if you are a sailor or not. The cost is usually about 150 zloties a day for a medium size sailboat. Another 100 zloties a day is for a qualified skipper.
